My Approach
Understanding first. Change at your own pace.
I believe therapy works best when you feel respected, listened to, and involved in the process. Our sessions are a place to be curious about what is happening, notice patterns that may no longer serve you, and find new ways to respond.
I bring warmth and care to the conversation, alongside gentle challenge when it may be useful. We will regularly check in about what is helping and adjust our work as your needs change.

Approaches I Draw On
Different tools, one steady relationship.
I draw on several evidence-informed approaches and adapt them to what you need, rather than fitting you to a method.
Person-Centred Therapy
A collaborative approach that values your perspective, autonomy, and capacity for growth, built on empathy, respect, and genuine attention.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
A practical approach exploring how thoughts, feelings, and behaviours influence one another, to help identify patterns and develop more useful responses.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
Support for making room for difficult thoughts and feelings while taking steps guided by what you value most.
Emotionally Focused Work
A way of understanding emotional needs and relationship patterns, with attention to safety, connection, and communication.
Mindfulness-Informed Practice
Simple awareness practices that help you notice the present moment with greater curiosity and less judgement.
Tailored to You
Most of all, our work is shaped around you. We’ll keep checking what helps and adjust together as things change.
Training & Background
Ongoing learning, thoughtful practice.
My work is informed by continuing professional development, reflective practice, and a commitment to ethical, client-centred care.
